Facilities Manager
Location: Sennybridge
A vital role supporting the UK Defence Training Estate.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support facilities teams and supervisors, allocating work and monitoring performance
* Ensure facilities are available and compliant through inspections, planning and oversight of PPM and reactive tasks
* Manage accommodation, waste, stores, grounds maintenance and cleaning services
* Liaise with customers, Employer representatives and technical specialists
* Manage contractors and oversee handover and take back of facilities
* Complete risk assessments, method statements and required documentation
* Identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency and added value
Qualifications
* Strong Health & Safety knowledge (COSHH, risk assessments, safe systems of work - IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent)
* Experience managing facilities, services or estates in an operational environment
* Strong communication, organisation and workforce planning skills
* Ability to manage budgets, contractors and multiple priorities
* Confident IT skills
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to pass BPSS security clearance
* 5 years UK residency
