Job Requirements / Description Early Years Professional
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 or 3 qualified Early Years Professional to join our team at Banana Moon Day Nursery, Kempston. As an Early Years Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years old.
Requirements
* Hold a full and relevant level 3 in Childcare (preferred)
* Flexible between the hours of 7:30am / 6:30pm
* Part-time / Full-time
* Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Experience working in an early years setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Passionate about providing high-quality care and education for children.
* Valid DBS check.
Responsibilities
* Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for children.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Observe and assess children's progress, keeping records and providing feedback to parents.
Room Leader
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Room Leader to join our friendly and supportive nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic early year's professional who is committed to providing outstanding care and education, and who thrives in a nurturing, child-centred environment.
Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
* Flexible between the hours of 7:30am / 6:30pm

* Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a small team within your designated room
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children
* Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
* Monitor, support and track children's development
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding and compliance
