Distribution Account Manager required.
This is an ideal first or second role for someone who is looking to build a career with a technology vendor. This role is to manage and develop business with a number of mostly southern UK based distribution partners in the IT Channel. This would be managing my clients desktop display and PC products in this channel. This is field sales role with maybe 1 or 2 days in the HQ, although the expectation is the successful candidate will be spending a good deal of time with their partners.
Knowledge of the IT Channel would be an asset so the ideal candidate will likely be currently working for a distributor, a vendor or similar within the IT Channel
You will be a pro active self starter who knows how to get the best from sales teams, and how to work with buyers within the distribution channel. There is an element of forecasting, stock control etc with this role as you would expect so good excel skills and being well organised are a must.
