*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MOT Tester to add to our highly skilled team. We are a Class 4 & 7 MOT Station with an ever-growing customer base providing us with a wide variety of work.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be committed to delivering high-quality service.
This is a permanent full-time position and the salary is negotiable for the right applicant. Our opening hours are Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct Class 4 & 7 MOT tests on various vehicle types in accordance with DVSA regulations and standards.
* Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs or adjustments.
* Possess strong mechanical knowledge and be able to carry out a wide range of work from routine servicing to more complicated technical jobs.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and any issues identified.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding test results, work completed and any required maintenance or repairs.
*Requirements*
* Valid MOT Tester certification is essential.
* Full Drivers License.
* Proven mechanical knowledge with prior experience.
* Be able to show your Annual Assessment Certificate.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during inspections and repairs.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills to interact with customers professionally.
* Maintaining high standards of work quality and safety compliance.
