Receptionist – 2.5 Days Per Week Watford We are looking to recruit an experienced and friendly front of house receptionist to work part time in an office building in central Watford. You’ll be efficient at managing visitors and following sign in processes; enjoy managing building and facilities issues and being the ‘go to‘ person in the building. The role will also include responsibility for planning and managing seasonal pop ups for those working in the building – so if you are creative and enthusiastic about reaching out to the local business community - this could be the role for you. Hours and salary Working hours are Monday & Tuesday 8.30am – 5.30pm and Wednesday 8.30am – 1.00pm Salary: £15,116 pa part time Key Responsibilities You will provide a front of house reception service, which will include: Reception /building responsibilities Provide a warm meet and greet service to all visitors to the building Ensure the reception area presents well and is kept tidy, replenishing the communal coffee machine as required Efficiently manage deliveries, including couriers and post Support the offsite Property Management Company by ensuring any building issues are reported and managed to resolution. This will include managing maintenance contractors visiting the building, managing and allocating keys, updating the facilities manager on progress Develop a good understanding of the local area and update a local amenities information file - becoming the ‘expert’ in terms of local knowledge Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders Tenant engagement Work collaboratively with your job share to develop and introduce seasonal events and pop ups for the tenants, to create a sense of community and aid enjoyment in the workplace (as and when required) Produce a monthly e-newsletter for tenants to communicate activities and drive participation Manage the buildings social media accounts, ensuring content is brand specific across multiple platforms Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service Self-motivated and willing to take on additional activities as part of the reception role Excellent written and oral communication skills Tech savy - PC competent with knowledge of social media, willing to learn new software apps Enjoy working independently as part of the reception job share Previous experience in a premium corporate front of house reception role or customer service, marketing, or sales environment.
