We are seeking an experienced and driven Fire Detection & Alarm Manager to oversee the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of our fire alarm services.
The ideal candidate will have end-to-end industry experience-from system design and commissioning to service management, estimating, sales, and technical consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage fire alarm engineers across service, commissioning, installation, and small works activities.
2. Oversee diary planning, resource allocation, and workflow coordination to maintain efficient service delivery.
3. Act as the main point of contact for escalated technical issues, providing guidance, solutions, and support.
4. Mentor, develop, and support engineering teams, encouraging skills growth and professional development.
5. Design fire alarm systems from concept to completion, including producing sketches, specifications, and quotations.
6. Conduct onsite surveys, site assessments, and technical consultations with new and existing clients.
7. Oversee commissioning, programming, testing, and servicing of a wide range of fire alarm systems including:
Protec, Advanced, Notifier, Morley, Chubb, Menvier, System Sensor, Euro Fire, and conventional systems.
8. Diagnose and resolve system faults efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
