Front of House is an exciting and diverse role within Kirklees Council, you will be working within key Council assets providing an excellent and responsive Front of House experience for both staff and customers.
As the way we work continues to evolve, we have identified the need for a strong Front of House presence across our Campus to support a wide range of people and activities. The Front of House Team work closely with the Corporate Facilities Management Team and will place a key role in developing effective relationships with visitors and users of our buildings.
Areas of Responsibility
* Providing an excellent and responsive customer experience
* Acting as first point of contact for queries, dealing with them in a professional manner
* Undertaking day to day Front of House tasks – Reception / post / stock management on site etc
* Manual handling to ensure all boxes/post/packages/chairs are moved safely
* Troubleshooting IT Equipment such as Hybrid Working systems
* Management of Room and Desk Booking Systems
* Room Management including resetting spaces
* Providing Management information to the Facilities Management Team
* Liaising with Cleaning and Caretaking Teams to keep the asset to a suitable standard
The successful candidates will be expected to work across shift patterns ranging between 8am and 7pm plus a scheduled Saturday, dependent on the site.
The successful candidates may have to travel between different sites where required.
