Overview
Gallagher Specialty are looking for a Claims Broker for their Aerospace division. You will be working on a caseload of worldwide aerospace claims, from first notification through to settlement. You will be part of a growing team committed to delivering the best service to their clients.
We will consider flexible home/office working arrangements for the right individuals.
How you'll make an impact
Handle claims from first advice to settlement.
Negotiating complex claims with clients, Lloyd's and Company markets.
Assisting and supporting Broking Teams in retaining and winning new clients.
Understanding technical issues regarding the claims presentation and using negotiating the best outcomes for clients
Presenting facts in the best light to facilitate the settlement of both material damage and business interruption claims to the benefit and satisfaction of clients
Maintain a broad knowledge of relevant markets and changes across the industry in order to keep clients/agents informed and provide effective risk management advice in line with AJG principles and values
Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and Gallaghers shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business
About You
Qualifications
Cert CII/ Dip CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) desirable
Technical Knowledge
Knowledge aerospace/aviation claims and London Insurance market
Detailed knowledge of market claim procedures
Experience
Technical claims handling of all classes of aerospace business
Skills/other
Excellent planning skills
Able to interpret data with accuracy and present findings articulately
Innovative approach in problem solving
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Authentic communication skills for varying audience
Comfortable and credible at decision-maker level
Persistent and tenacious in achieving results
