QA Specialist – Fire Detection & Alarms Bill Rate: £25.00 – £27 ph 5 days per week, 50 hrs per week Location: AESC Gigafactory, Sunderland, SR5 3FH Industry: Construction / Fire & Life Safety Job Summary: As a QA Specialist – Fire Detection, you will be responsible for quality assurance of the installation, testing, and commissioning readiness of complete fire detection and alarm systems at the AESC Gigafactory Sunderland. This includes control and indicating equipment (panels), detectors, interfaces, power supplies, cabling, ancillary devices, and VESDA (aspirating smoke detection) systems. The role is focused on ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with BS 5839, approved design documentation, manufacturers’ requirements, and best industry practice, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail, defect prevention, and long-term system reliability.
