Test Centre Administrator

We are hiring for a Test Centre Administrator to join our team in Cheltenham. The position is permanent, part‑time, with a minimum of 8.25 hours per week and includes Saturday work. Shift patterns vary week to week. The role is based at the Leicester test centre and pays £13.60 per hour.


Responsibilities

* Welcome, greet and check‑in customers/test‑taking candidates.
* Comply with all exam testing security and procedures, following company policies with careful judgment.
* Verify customer/candidate personal identification documents and explain the exam testing process and rules.
* Proctor and invigilate candidates while they complete their exam or test.
* Troubleshoot and coordinate with internal departments, such as IT, to resolve technical issues in the Test Centre.
* Perform housekeeping duties, such as vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards/workstations.


Qualifications & Requirements

* School qualifications in English and Maths.
* Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is an advantage.
* Flexible to work a variety of shifts on any day Monday through Sunday.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor for restricted behaviour from a distance.
* Comfortable in a quiet testing environment, able to sit for long periods, and escort candidates to and from examination rooms.
* Team‑player with good customer service skills.
