Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs in an acute hospital setting.
2. Develop and deliver personalized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence.
3. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
4. Educate and support patients, their families, and carers throughout the rehabilitation process.
5. Accurately maintain patient records and actively contribute to discharge planning.
Requirements:
6. HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
7. Experience working in an acute hospital setting is highly desirable.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on patient-centered care.
10. A commitment to continuous professional development.
