We are looking for a highly motivated Key Account Manager National Accounts to join our team. This is a national role, so you can be based anywhere in the UK. As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end commercial customer journey, including both relationship management and business development activities. Approximately 80% of the role will focus on proactively identifying and securing new customers to expand the account base and drive business growth, with the remaining 20% dedicated to managing and developing existing accounts. All activities will be guided by a continuously evolving and agreed account plan and customer strategy. You will build, maintain and develop strong, direct relationships with key customer stakeholders, and deliver key account management activities in line with national Key Account guidelines. How you create impact Actively hunting for new customers to expand the portfolio and drive business growth Directly manages accounts, in accordance with agreed targets, goals and based on company guidelines, eliciting customer needs and selling KN offer portfolio Understands the customers organization and decision making process Understands the customers business model and business environment as well as the competitive environment of the customer Negotiates rates and service contracts with customers in alignment with the BUs and ensures all commercial requirements are documented and maintained as needed by the BUs Understand, at an expert level, the service offerings of KN Complies with KN sales management processes and systems and ensures correct and timely updates (CRM/CoreLog system) Monitors monthly performance (pipeline, wins, losses, RFP opportunities, consulting activities, financial related including Days Sales Outstanding and Credit) against set targets, and ensures immediate actions taken in case of deviations (incl. timely / accurate reporting) What we would like you to bring Knowledge and proven experience within a broad range of vertical topics (incl. supply chain) Proven business development track record (up and cross selling, solutions/consultative) Able to manage internal and external stakeholders Competitive in nature that will drive opportunities to a win What's in it for you As well as our competitive pay rates and superb training opportunities, we also offer a great working environment.
