Senior Civil Engineer
Location : Thatcham
Salary : £45,000 - £55,000
We’re working with a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy that is looking to expand its team in Thatcham with the addition of a Senior Civil Engineer.

The Role
You’ll be working across a wide range of development projects, taking schemes from planning and feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
As a key member of the team, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own work, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and act as a main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
* A degree in Civil Engineering (BEng / MEng or equivalent)
* A minimum of 4 years' experience within consultancy (ideally multi-disciplinary)
* Experience delivering infrastructure designs for development projects
* Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroDrainage and / or Causeway Flow
* Solid understanding of hydraulic principles and drainage strategy development
* Familiarity with S104, S38, S278, and S185 agreements and relevant planning processes
* Ability to manage your own workload, attend site and client meetings, and oversee technical delivery
* Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers
* Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients and design teams
* A full UK driving licence and ability to travel to the Nottingham office
* Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or equivalent)
