The Role
As a Therapeutic Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting young people to recover, grow, and develop within a safe and structured environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a trauma-informed, therapeutic model of care.
About the Home
We are working with a supportive children’s residential home in Faversham, providing care for young people aged 8–18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex needs. The home operates as part of a therapeutic community, where relationships, consistency, and reflective practice form the foundation of care.
Key responsibilities include:
* Building trusting, positive relationships with young people
* Supporting emotional regulation and promoting resilience
* Working collaboratively within a therapeutic framework
* Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and professional practice
* Contributing to reflective practice and team development
Rota and Expectations
* Shifts: 8am – 11pm + sleep-in
* Working 2–3 shifts per week with days off in between
* 6 sleep-ins per month included in salary
* Additional sleep-ins paid at £60 each
