Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a defined portfolio of asset finance customers.
* Maintain effective client management while keeping a visible and positive presence in other parts of the business and the external market.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with your portfolio of customers.
* Specialise in asset finance, drive sales activity and deliver proactive and exceptional customer service, providing products and services that meet customers' needs.
* Develop and maintain working relationships with key business and functional partners to ensure a cooperative approach to relationship management and lead generation.
* Design and deliver a strategy to identify sources of new business and to manage and grow existing relationships.
* Identify and meet customer needs and ensure pricing is fair and transparent.
* Take ownership of and regularly contribute to the delivery of business goals.
* Work together to build trust and create long‑term sustainable value for customers and colleagues.
Qualifications
* Specific knowledge and experience of asset finance.
* Experience building strong relationships with customers.
* Good understanding of SME businesses.
* Proactive approach and commercial awareness.
* Sound knowledge and experience in financial analysis, credit stewardship and a detailed understanding of the banking sector.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with senior colleagues.
* The ability to build trust with customers and contribute to a collaborative and enthusiastic working environment within the team.
