Volunteer: Website Addition: Donation Page
Join to apply for the Volunteer: Website Addition: Donation Page role at African Development Choices
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
We are looking to partner with a web developer to design and build a donation page for our charity website. The deliverable for this project would be a wireframe for the donation page and the build‑out of the page. This page should be integrated with our current website. We will gather internal feedback and share consolidated input with the volunteer before finalizing the design. We would also like the volunteer to provide a brief walkthrough or documentation so our team can maintain the page going forward.
African Development Choices (ADC) empowers communities in Africa to make informed, evidence‑based decisions about water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) and other essential public services. Our mission is to promote sustainable development by improving access to basic infrastructure, fostering accountability, and strengthening community participation. Creating a dedicated donation page will directly support this mission by giving supporters an easy, secure, and inspiring way to contribute to our projects—starting with the Nyansakia II Primary School WASH initiative in Kenya. This page will help us raise critical funds to build safe toilets, provide clean water, and improve hygiene facilities for 800 children, including 32 with disabilities. By making online giving seamless and engaging, the donation page will enable ADC to scale its impact, reach more donors globally, and sustain long‑term programs that improve health, education, and dignity in underserved communities.
Our website is hosted on WordPress. We will provide the web developer with all components to complete the project, including the donation form, site copy, branding guidelines, graphics, analytics, and CRM or fundraising software necessary.
