A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef to oversee a busy kitchen at an activity centre for young children and adults.
The Role
You will be a key member of the catering team to ensure that the catering operations run smoothly and efficiently during breakfast, lunch, and dinner times. You will prepare, cook, and serve food, always adhering to procedures. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, temperature checks, and allergy management.
The role involves working 5 days out of 7, 42 hours per week, with overtime available.
Shift patterns will be either 5.30am - 1.30pm or 1.30pm - 8.30pm.
The ideal applicant
We are looking for an experienced chef from a high-volume background, with some experience managing or supervising within a busy environment. An enhanced DBS check is required.
We welcome candidates from the MOD, Contract Catering, large Event and Wedding venues, large busy pub chains, and those holding the following qualifications:
* Level 3 Food Safety and allergen management
* City & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
* Management qualifications and proven experience of coaching and mentoring your team
