The Howard Academy Trust is seeking a highly effective Head of IT, to start from November/December 2025. This role will be based within the IT Department, within the Central Operations Team of the Trust.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of IT, from infrastructure design and cyber security to capital projects and operational service delivery, managing a committed IT team across multiple sites. The role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional technical expertise, and the ability to balance strategic and operational priorities in a dynamic education environment.
This is a full-time, permanent role, all year round, paid on the Tier 2 pay scale. FTE £55,000 - £68,000 per annum.
The working pattern will consist of 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day. This role also offers hybrid working, with 1–2 days working from home each week, depending on organisational needs and requirements.
