Operations Manager (Commercial waste)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

What you'll be doing;
Responsible for day-to-day management of operatives, staff and site based support to ensure site capability/capacity is maximised.
Deliver strong operational and financial performance whilst maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, customer service and team engagement.
Ensure safety & well being of all employees and those affected by our operations.
Managing Waste Transfer Station where applicable.
Managing operations against Veolia Minimum Requirements.
Managing people & assets to deliver efficient & profitable service & ensure the most efficient disposal and recycling solutions are utilized.
Identify & drive efficiencies to maximise revenue & profit.
Challenge existing practice and seek value for money alternatives to deliver long term sustainable economic benefits.
Aim to meet waste reduction and recycling targets by ensuring processes and ways of working are followed.
Identify and implement initiatives to improve business performance and ecological transformation.
Prepare and present accurate reports on waste generation, handling, and disposal activities to key stakeholders and management.
Monitor and analyse waste data to identify trends, benchmarks, and areas for improvement.
What we're looking for;
Transport CPC
Level 3 Leadership or equivalent experience
IOSH Managing Safely
Managerial experience within waste or similar industry
