We’re hiring! Sales Representative – Full-time + company car + bonus
Join our dynamic team and take your sales career to the next level. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of sales experience and knowledge of electronic components, who thrives on the road (80% customer visits) and is ready to travel across the UK & Ireland. The position is based in Birmingham with travel across England, Ireland and Scotland.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining long term and improving customer relationships through regular customer visits - readiness to travel.
* Visiting customers – mainly on-site visits with some follow-up at the office; the ratio of customer visits to office work is about 80/20.
* Developing existing accounts and finding new opportunities.
* Managing and expanding product and market knowledge.
* Attending trade fairs, events and conferences promoting the company.
* Preparing offers and cooperating with sales specialists.
* Providing excellent follow-up after price quotes and delivering great customer service (placing orders, checking product availability and delivery times, handling complaints, etc.).
* Contributing to the company’s commercial and marketing strategy.
* Searching for information about the local market, fairs and business opportunities for TME.
* Identifying customer needs and translating these into sales and marketing actions.
* Providing reports on daily activities.
* Collaborating with inside sales and account managers.
Who you should be
* 2+ years of sales experience (ESSENTIAL).
* Knowledge of electronic components (ESSENTIAL) – at least basic level.
* Driving license.
* Willingness for mobile work – visiting customers 4 days a week.
* Can-do mentality, initiative, and ability to spot opportunities.
* Enthusiastic, communicative and determined; able to convey information confidently and honestly.
* Strong English communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with other departments.
* Independent and proactive thinking; a jovial team player.
