SEND Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs & SEMH) Job Summary
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of Special Educational Needs, particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
You will support pupils both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis within the classroom. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the planning, preparation and delivery of tailored learning activities.
* Adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of individual pupils.
* Monitoring and encouraging progress in both academic and personal development.
* Building valuable experience working directly with pupils with complex needs and behavioural challenges.
This role is well suited to aspiring SEN Teachers, Educational Psychologists or Clinical Psychologists.
