Overview
CYP Public Health West Dorset Team seeks a registered nurse to join our dynamic 0‑19 service. The post holder will work alongside health visitors and school nurses to deliver the Healthy Child Programme to families with children aged 0‑19.
The role is part‑time (22.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday). Hours can be worked flexibly, with a hybrid model that includes remote home working and coverage of the Bridport locality. Visa sponsorship is not available; the successful candidate must hold a valid right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and work in partnership with children, young people, and families in various settings.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions and packages of care for an allocated caseload, promoting independence and autonomy within a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Provide support for identified health needs in relation to the national and local agenda.
* Develop and maintain partnership working with children, young people, and families.
* Facilitate partnership working across health, education, and social care.
* Safeguard children and young people.
* Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings as appropriate.
* Work flexibly to meet the needs of the local population.
* Contribute to the development of the service using innovative practice, ideas, and technology.
