Job Description
CMDP is a joint venture between Costain and MWHT, delivering schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water's water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern region (Kent & Sussex).
Responsibilities
1. Lead and develop the management and issuance of accurate, timely, and compliant notices and correspondence.
2. Identify contractual and commercial risks and opportunities for the Project Director/Manager.
3. Maintain registers of variations, delays, extension times, and claims; implement the company's commercial policies and procedures effectively.
4. Assist in preparing monthly progress valuations and claims for work completed.
5. Coordinate with the Employer's commercial team and client team.
6. Prepare pre-contract tender negotiations and reports as necessary.
7. Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and contract budget reports.
8. Review value management and advise on risk management.
9. Prepare, review, and complete subcontract documentation.
10. Plan change management and cost control strategies.
11. Prepare and agree on interim payment applications.
12. Prepare and agree on final accounts with subcontractors.
13. Manage subcontracts from initial placement to final account.
14. Monitor and update procurement plans, including subcontract procurement and commercial comparisons.
15. Reconcile weekly plant, material, and labour against budget.
