Our Belfast office is seeking a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our well-established and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, client-facing engineer who is ready to take on a leading role in delivering high-quality projects across Northern Ireland .
You will work on a wide range of exciting and high-profile projects, collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment and contributing to innovative, well-engineered solutions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, confident, and demonstrates strong technical and team leadership capabilities.
What you’ll do
1. Undertake specific engineering tasks as part of wider project assignments under the guidance of senior engineers
2. Gather, analyse, and correlate engineering data using established procedures
3. Carry out detailed and routine mechanical engineering calculations and design tasks
4. Propose solutions to new and emerging technical challenges
5. Identify and resolve discrepancies in design outputs and calculations
6. Provide guidance and support to entry-level engineers
7. Deliver work in line with agreed budgets and project schedules with moderate supervision
8. Produce and develop BIM models directly in Revit
9. Present design calculations clearly and coherently
10. Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary project team

Requirements
11. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline
12. MEng (Hons) or higher-level qualification is desirable
