A well-regarded offshore disputes practice in Jersey is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to support the continued growth of its litigation and insolvency team. The role sits within a collaborative group advising on complex, high-value disputes with an international dimension, often involving financial services, restructuring and trust-related matters. You will be involved across the full lifecycle of contentious matters, from early case strategy through to trial and enforcement, working closely with partners while taking real ownership of your matters. The work is varied and intellectually engaging, with regular cross-border elements and direct client exposure. Responsibilities include: Advising on commercial litigation, insolvency and restructuring matters, and trust disputes Managing matters independently while maintaining appropriate partner engagement Drafting pleadings, submissions and strategic advice across all stages of proceedings Acting as a key point of contact for clients, intermediaries and counsel Supporting the development of junior lawyers and contributing to team knowledge Playing an active role in business development and maintaining client relationships Candidates should be England & Wales qualified or from a recognised common law jurisdiction, with 5–8 years’ PQE gained within a strong disputes practice. Experience in insolvency or financial services litigation is particularly relevant. You will be commercially minded, confident in managing clients and comfortable operating within a high-performing international team.
