This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented group of professionals while making a significant impact in the building surveying field!
Location
Your base will be in Liverpool, with the flexibility of remote working. This role will require regular travel to connect with our teams in:
* Speke (near Liverpool)
* Lincoln
* Gerrards Cross
* Waterbeach (near Cambridge)
* Various Kier and client sites nationwide
Working Hours
We offer a 37.5-hour work week with some flexibility on hours. Just let us know your preferences when we chat!
Compensation
Enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £70,000, along with a £6,700 annual car allowance, private healthcare, and a range of additional benefits.
Your Responsibilities
As our Building Surveying Lead, you will:
* Lead and manage a team of building surveyors, ensuring high-quality service delivery to both internal and external clients.
* Oversee project management for building surveying services, ensuring client satisfaction and effective internal management.
* Engage in business development by nurturing relationships with existing clients and identifying new opportunities.
* Drive the sustainable growth of the Building Surveying team, collaborating with our recruitment team to attract top talent.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold full membership of RICS as a Building Surveyor or an equivalent professional body, along with a full driving license.
* Possess strong leadership, motivation, and communication skills, with a proven track record in building surveying across various sectors.
* Have solid contract administration skills, particularly with JCT and NEC forms of contract, and are adept in project management.
* Bring personal energy and ambition, eager to lead and develop a team of building surveyors.
