We are the ideal school for dedicated teachers who want to make a real difference.What is the job role?Teach a class of pupils and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs in line with Key Stage 1 guidelinesMaintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroomContribute to constructive team-building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, governors and the wider communityEnsure that the current national conditions of employment for school teachers are metWho are we looking for?Implement agreed school policies and guidelinesSupport initiatives decided by the Head Teacher and staffPlan appropriately to meet the needs of all pupilsBe able to set and review clear targets, based on prior attainment, for pupils' learningKeep appropriate and efficient records, integrating formative and summative assessment into weekly and termly planningLead, organise and direct support staff within the classroomAny other duties and responsibilities within the range of the salary gradeVisits to the school are encouraged.
