1147 - Technical Project Manager (12 month FTC)
About the role
We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as a Technical Project Manager for Automation. This is a contract position based in London. The role plays a crucial part in supporting OpenDoor’s business needs, focused on streamlining the data provisioning process through automation. Working within a team, the Technical Project Manager will ensure the delivery of a critical project related to the provisioning of media data from local markets, working alongside a team of Engineers and reporting into the Technical Lead.
Responsibilities
* Management of automation projects with the business, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards
* Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives and timelines for automation projects
* Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project & local teams, and other partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress
* Identification and mitigation of risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
* Coordinate with multiple teams to deliver against tight timelines
* Ensure compliance with WPP and broader regulatory requirements, where applicable
Required Skills/Experience
* Proven history of project work, with some/all of that related to automation and the media industry
* Understanding of automation tools such as Power Automate, Power Query
* Comfortable handling complexity – both in the work itself and the stakeholder map
* Excellent critical thinking skills in order to tackle complex data challenges
* Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences, approaching different cultures with diplomacy
