HGV Class 2 Skip Driver Job location: Milton Keynes MK6 area Pay rate: £16.00 per hour, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5am-3pm Industry: Waste & Recycling Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join our successful client based in Milton Keynes MK6 area. Our client is a leader in Waste Management. Duties & Responsibilities Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various HGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers. This is a physically demanding role, and you'll need to be comfortable with early starts and happy working outside all year round and in all weathers. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, attention to safety and follow project timelines and complete tasks within the set deadlines. Operating an HGV Class 2 (Category C) skip lorry Delivering and collecting skips to and from customer sites Safely operate HGV vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver waste materials to designated locations Securing skips/roros onto the vehicle and ensuring they are loaded and unloaded safely Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely Using a tablet device (or mobile phone) to report completion of collection Person Specification Digital tachograph card & CPC card essentials Full Class 2 UK Driving Licence Strong driving and navigation skills Good team working skills and good communication skills Previous experience driving a skip lorry or similar vehicle is required Benefits Guaranteed Hours Available Immediate Start Holiday Pay If the role of HGV Class 2 Skip Driver is the right role for you, APPLY NOW and a member of the Smart Team will contact you to discuss the role in more detail.
