Finance Manager
We’re looking for a skilled and forward‑thinking Finance Manager to provide high‑quality financial management and strengthen financial systems and processes that support our leaders, teams, and long‑term sustainability.
The finance team plays a critical role in supporting the organization to deliver its strategic ambitions, ensuring strong financial stewardship, robust reporting, and effective decision‑making. This role is key to the ongoing development of the finance function as the charity continues to evolve and grow.
Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate and timely financial information, including management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and statutory reporting across the charity.
* Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Finance team, acting as a trusted business partner to budget holders.
* Drive finance transformation activity, implementation of new systems, and continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.
* Lead on budget holder reporting and review meetings, support audit processes, and contribute to the development of financial policies, procedures, and a cost‑effective procurement approach.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong experience managing and developing finance teams.
* Excellent technical knowledge of charity finance regulations.
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to operate strategically and operationally, driving change, improving processes, and delivering high‑quality outputs in a dynamic environment.
