We are looking for a strategic, proactive and highly organised Customer Marketing Manager to lead the development and delivery of customer marketing programmes across the education market.

What you’ll be doing

This role will be responsible for driving customer engagement, adoption, retention, renewal and advocacy through multi-channel marketing campaigns, lifecycle communications, events and personalised customer experiences.

You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, Product and Digital teams to ensure customers receive relevant, valuable and engaging communications throughout the customer lifecycle.

You will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on campaign execution and will play a key role in improving customer lifetime value, strengthening customer relationships and supporting business growth.


What you’ll be responsible for:

Strategy & Lifecycle

* Develop and deliver the customer marketing strategy across onboarding, engagement, retention, renewal and advocacy.
* Create and optimise customer lifecycle journeys, nurture programmes and personalised communications.
* Work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product and Digital teams to improve customer adoption, engagement, retention and upsell opportunities.
* Provide guidance on customer marketing best practices across the organisation.

Campaigns & Content

* Plan and execute multi-channel customer marketing campaigns including email, webinars, digital campaigns, events and social media.
* Manage customer communications including newsletters, product updates, customer stories, case studies and advocacy programmes.
* Coordinate customer-facing events, webinars and exhibitions, including attendance strategies and post‑event follow‑up.
* Support website optimisation and digital customer experience initiatives in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager.
* Ensure all customer communications align with brand guidelines and deliver a consistent customer experience.

Data, CRM & Reporting

* Use customer data, segmentation and reporting insights to improve targeting, engagement and campaign performance.
* Maintain and optimise CRM and marketing automation platforms, ensuring data accuracy and effective customer targeting.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on customer marketing performance metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.


What we’re looking for

* Degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
* Strong experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing or a related marketing role.
* Proven experience managing multi‑channel marketing campaigns and customer engagement programmes.
* Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation and retention strategies.
* Excellent written communication, copywriting and content creation skills.
* Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms, particularly HubSpot.
* Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting campaign performance data and customer insights.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
