Position overview
As a key commercial leader within our Sales organisation and reporting directly to the Channel Director, this role plays a critical part in shaping our success across the Out of Home (OoH) channel. You will be the primary interface between the business and a diverse portfolio of strategic customers—driving sales, market share, and profit growth while championing the expansion and visibility of our brands.
This is a high-impact role that demands ambition, resilience, and a passion for winning. You will bring strong commercial acumen and advanced technical capability across selling, negotiation, forecasting, and business planning. Equally important is your ability to foster deep customer intimacy, influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and convert insights into action.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Leadership
Lead the commercial agenda across key OoH accounts including Kitwave Group, Brakes, Bidfood, Contract Catering Groups, and a wide range of Wholesale and Foodservice partners.
Own the full customer relationship, ensuring alignment to joint business plans and delivering agreed sales, profit, and distribution targets.
Business Development & Channel Expansion
Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the OoH landscape—shaping and executing the long-term strategy for channel growth.
Drive broader “end-user” penetration through increased product availability, enhanced visibility, and new distribution points for Yoplait’s portfolio.
Commercial Planning & Delivery
Develop and execute annual business plans that deliver sustained growth and support company objectives.
Translate category, shopper, and market insights into differentiated customer propositions that create value for both Yoplait and the customer.
Manage trade investment strategically—implementing promotional plans, optimising spend, and ensuring maximum ROI through robust evaluation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work seamlessly with internal partners across Category Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Finance to bring customer plans to life.
Leverage the organisation’s full capability set (Shopper Insights, Pricing, Merchandising, Category Management) to unlock growth and strengthen customer partnerships.
Growth & Opportunity Identification
Continually assess the market and competitive environment to identify new opportunities for innovation, distribution expansion, and commercial improvement.
Build tailored solutions that support customer priorities while advancing the overall channel and brand strategy.
