Job Description

3. Identify and secure new business opportunities within the corporate travel & tourism industry.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and repeat business.
5. Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement effective sales strategies.
6. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.
7. Analyse market trends to identify potential areas for growth.
8. Negotiate contracts and manage the sales process from start to finish.
9. Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to senior management.
10. Attend industry events and conferences to network and represent the company professionally.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager - South should have:

11. Proven experience in B2B or business development within Travel & Tourism industry or Direct experience working in the corporate travel technology sector.
12. A strong background in software solution selling, ideally within SaaS or technology‑led environments.
13. Strong ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
14. Current, hands‑on involvement in selling or managing travel‑tech platforms or digital travel solutions.
15. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
16. Proficiency in preparing and delivering impactful presentations.
17. Understanding of market trends and the ability to translate them into actionable strategies.
18. Capability to manage the entire sales process with professionalism and efficiency.
19. Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
20. A results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving sales goals.
