Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic leader with a strong sense of commercial priorities. The successful candidate will be motivated to identify and deliver improvements in efficiency and profitability, with a solid understanding of productivity and cost drivers.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Implementing productivity, quality, and safety initiatives, including structured problem-solving methods such as 8D.
2. Applying lean manufacturing principles to improve processes.
3. Delivering process engineering in medium or low volume manufacturing/MRO environments.
4. Collaborating effectively within teams and considering ERP and physical processes holistically.
5. Utilizing lean tools to maximize efficiency and reduce waste throughout the product lifecycle.
6. Creating job cards and liaising with production/process engineers to ensure correct material selection and accurate production estimates.
Qualifications
* Graduate or apprentice-level trained engineer.
* Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably with composite materials.
