What you'll do:
* Lead the delivery of a robust Audit & Assurance programme across a complex, multi‑site contract environment
* Develop, implement, and maintain the annual Audit & Assurance Plan aligned to client governance and NEC4 requirements
* Lead audits across statutory compliance, PPM, asset management, health & safety, environmental performance, CAFM data, and supply chain
* Provide independent assurance on statutory, mandatory, and operational compliance across all service areas
* Verify compliance with legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, and industry standards
* Audit the delivery of the 10‑year PPM programme in line with SFG20 and ensure asset and lifecycle data accuracy
* Support and maintain ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 management systems, including internal and external audits
* Ensure CAFM, asset, and compliance data is accurate, reliable, and audit‑ready
* Identify risks, non‑conformances, and systemic issues, ensuring they are escalated and managed appropriately
* Produce clear, evidence‑based assurance reports for governance forums and senior stakeholders
* Drive corrective actions, track performance, and embed continuous improvement across the contract
* Promote a strong culture of compliance, accountability, and assurance across operational teams and supply chain
What you bring:
* Proven experience in audit, assurance, or compliance roles within a regulated or complex environment
* Experience within Facilities Management, infrastructure, government estates, or similar sectors
* Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, PPM, asset management, and technical assurance
* Experience auditing and supporting ISO‑certified management systems (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001)
* Experience delivering internal and external audits and managing corrective actions
* Understanding of NEC3/NEC4 contracts (desirable)
* Strong analytical and investigative skills with a high attention to detail
* Ability to assess complex data sets and provide evidence‑based assurance
* Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders and clients
* Ability to challenge constructively, influence change, and drive improvement
* High levels of integrity, independence, and professional judgement
