A FMCG manufacturing business are seeking an experienced Shift Production Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving success, innovation, and excellence. Working a panama shift pattern Days & Nights
Salary £50,000 to £60,000 dependent on experience.
What You Will Do:
Lead and motivate teams to create a high-performance culture, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are always prioritised.
Oversee all aspects of shift operations, from production planning to ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards.
Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures.
Manage manpower resources effectively, ensuring team members are trained, supported, and motivated to succeed.
Report and act on machinery breakdowns, working closely with engineering teams to minimise downtime.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing techniques, to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Your Experience & Background:
Proven experience in manufacturing management, ideally within the food and drink sector or a similar high-volume FMCG environment.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams while managing performance and development.
A solid understanding of improvement techniques such as continuous improvement, Kaizen, or lean manufacturing.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, practical approach to challenges.
Relevant qualifications, such as a management degree, NVQ, ILM certification, or equivalent experience.
