Sexual Health Fife is a forward‑thinking multidisciplinary team delivering sexual and reproductive health care for Fife’s population. A vacancy has arisen within the nursing team for a Registered Nurse (Adult). This post will cover the delivery of services Fife-wide.
Responsibilities
The post holder will function as an autonomous practitioner to ensure the provision of accessible, high‑standard, culturally sensitive and rights‑based Sexual and Reproductive Health care.
Qualifications
You should have some experience in sexual health or a related area, have a non‑judgmental, person‑centred approach, and the ability to use your initiative. This vacancy can be filled by an experienced sexual health nurse or a registrant who does not have previous sexual health experience at Band 5 (Annex 21*) with progression to a Band 6 on completion of competencies which include the Postgraduate Certificate in Sexual & Reproductive Health and a non‑medical prescribing qualification. A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.

*Annex 21 - Candidates who commence on band (lower band) will be required to successfully complete the appropriate qualification/s or training as outlined within the Annex 21 competency framework prior to progressing to band (upper band).
