JDR are hiring for multiple CNC programers for one of their clients in Newcastle under Lyme This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to put their skills to use to earn some good money. Contract type: Permanent vacancy Pay rate: £16.50 to £18 per hour, depending on experience. Working hours: Work a fixed shift, Night shift includes a shift allowance. Day shift, 7:30 - 4:30, monday to Friday. 12:30pm finish Friday Night shift, 18:00 - 4:30am, Sunday to Thursday What does the role look like: Programming, setting and monitoring of Lathe, Mills and turning CNC machines using CADCAM software Regularly performing quality checks on the finished products in line with the companies QMS Working to estimated production times Working within the companies H&S policy Ensuring the work areas are organised and tidy. Ensuring tooling is returned to the tool stores. Ensuring material is returned to the material stores. What we're looking for: An experienced CNC setter, who has experience working through the full CNC lifecycle, including programming, setting and operating. Programming experience with Heidenhein, Mazatrol or Siemens controls would be a benefit, as would any expereince with CADCAM software Someone who has an eye for detail and can quality check finished products.
