THE EMPLOYER IS: HAIRPLAYBYALEX We are seeking a talented Hair Stylist or assistant. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident. Through both hair care and ability to connect with customers, you will contribute to a welcoming and professional salon environment. It is not necessary to be a qualified stylist as we are willing to take on a salon assistant who has an interest in hairdressing, or possibly started training but didn't complete and who is willing to learn some basics and assist stylists.
Responsibilities
* Maintain clean and organised workstations and ensure the salon is kept tidy at all times.
* Provide tea and coffee.
* Engage with clients.
* Sell products and services.
* Assist in store management tasks, including inventory management and maintaining supplies.
* Reception duties such as scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Desirable Skills
* Qualified stylist is desirable but not necessary.
* Salon experience.
