Job purpose:
Continue to grow rapidly and to support the next stage of our growth in the United Kingdom we need a Sales Manager to develop a client portfolio in line with the company’s strategy of expanding into the Electric Utilities Sector.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to break into the Electric Utilities Sector.
* Have total responsibility for meeting the business sales and fluid work targets.
* Manage clients according to the strategy in compliance with company policies and corporate procedures.
* Establish productive and professional relationships with key client personnel.
* Produce and present sales presentations both internally and externally.
* Produce and present weekly progress reports to internal key stakeholders.
* Communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) so the business pain points in order to provide solutions.
* Follow market trends, client behaviour and competitors to be able to adapt company strategy accordingly.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Must possess an entrepreneurial mind set, have a proven track record in starting something from scratch, and building success.
* Established connections within the Electric Utilities Sector is essential.
* Must have 8+ years of experience in the Electric Utilities Sector sales, business development and client management.
* A strong technical engineering knowledge of the Electric Utilities Sector.
* A detailed knowledge of estimating, PQQ completion, and bid management.
* An understanding of the contractual requirements and negotiations.
* Promote preliminary activities with potential customers, have sales negotiations, formulate offers, estimates and contracts, negotiate the best sales conditions.
* Able to create and deliver sales presentations to management and clients.
* Must have experience in client PQQ and tender processes.
* Proactive, self-motivated with a high level of autonomy.
Fluency in English language both verbal and written.
