What to Expect in This History Teacher Role: Deliver engaging history lessons across a range of year groups. Plan and prepare lessons that encourage enquiry, debate, and historical understanding. Support students in developing analytical and critical thinking skills. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Assess student progress and work collaboratively with colleagues to support achievement. Requirements for This History Teacher Role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching history is desirable. Strong classroom management and organisational skills. Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities. A professional, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to teaching. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
