Job Title: Committee Services Coordinator Location : Covent Garden, London (hybrid) Type: Full-time, permanent About the role: BSI is the UK’s national standards body and a global leader in creating standards that improve business performance and innovation. Our Service Centre team supports over 400 committees, ensuring the smooth running of our standards development processes. We’re looking for a Committee Services Coordinator to join our Service Centre team (CSC). You’ll work closely with two other coordinators, Standards Development Manager’s, and our wider Business Support team to provide vital administrative support to our committees. This is an entry-level role with comprehensive on-the-job training provided. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with an eye for detail and a proactive approach, who’s looking to develop their administrative and organisational skills in a niche and interesting environment. Our head office is based in The Acre, a landmark office building in the heart of Covent Garden. Responsibilities: Provide general administrative support for over 400 committees Upload ballots and documents to our website and internal systems Manage the Committee Service Centre joint mailbox/folder and allocate tasks to the individual coordinator folders Ensure tasks meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Handle ad-hoc administrative requests outside of BAU activities Occasionally liaise with the Business Support team To be successful in the role, you will have: Has excellent attention to detail (especially in written communication) Is comfortable working both as part of a team and independently Is proactive and able to take initiative after training Has some prior administrative experience (desirable but not essential) Is eager to learn and adaptable to a unique working environment Grow your career and expand your skills and knowledge.
