Job Title: Secondary SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Surrey, Leatherhead Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Skills: SEN experience Job Duties: Provide tailored support to secondary students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Deliver individualised tutoring sessions based on students' learning needs Develop and implement personalised learning plans Monitor and assess student progress regularly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN principles and best practises Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Organisational and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs Experience using assistive technology in teaching Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Work in a school setting with students Potential travel to different school locations within the area All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
