A well-established construction contractor is seeking a Buyer / Administrator to support live civil engineering and surfacing projects. This is a varied, hands-on office role suited to someone organised, commercially aware, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Procuring materials, plant, and tools for site teams
*
Raising and managing purchase orders and supplier relationships
*
Negotiating rates and supporting tender pricing
*
Planning and scheduling surfacing works and associated logistics
*
Coordinating plant, transport, subcontractors, and operatives
*
Approving and querying high-volume invoices
*
Supporting compliance, waste tracking, and sustainability reporting
*
General office and yard administration
About You
*
Experience in construction, civils, surfacing, or materials/plant buying
*
Strong organisational and communication skills
*
Commercially minded and detail-focused

Confident managing multiple priorities and systems
