Job Summary
Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is a global leader in critical power solutions. We are seeking a REVIT Technician located in Blackburn, England to support our mission‑critical and live commercial building projects, reporting to the BIM Manager.
Typical Day / Responsibilities
* Digital delivery of MEP models and information management from bid stage to project close‑out.
* Create BIM / Revit families of bespoke LV switchgear in line with project BIM specifications up to LOD500.
* Provide engineered solutions to client design requirements, routing of Anord Mardix busbar & MEP elements such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical cabling, electrical fixtures, etc.
* Liaise with trade partners to coordinate equipment and provide a clash‑free model.
* Support all aspects of Anord Mardix business in delivering digital outputs within project teams and seamlessly sharing information with other disciplines.
* Aide in maintaining Revit families and content creation.
* Produce drawings/models using Autodesk tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
Qualifications
* Good understanding of mechanical & electrical engineering in the construction field; degree qualification advantageous.
* Experience working on large‑scale projects such as data centres, high‑rise buildings, etc.
* Previous exposure to or experience with electrical equipment design preferred.
* Understanding of ISO19650 BIM standards.
* Demonstrable experience using Revit and collaborating with other disciplines.
* Experience with Autodesk Docs, BIM360 and Navisworks required.
* Knowledge of Dynamo programming language for Revit highly advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
