ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Implementation and maintenance of Azure, AWS, and OCI IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS cloud solutions.
2. Optimization of existing cloud solutions including cost, performance, and reliability.
3. Implementation, maintenance, and documentation of backup and recovery systems within Azure, AWS, and OCI.
4. Engages in and supports DevOps practices for infrastructure and security management.
5. Influences application and security architecture and design across multi and hybrid cloud platforms.
6. Peer-reviews infrastructure-as-code (Azure ARM, Terraform, or similar).
7. Provides necessary written documentation and knowledge transfer to stakeholders and team members within the working group.
8. Provide support and escalation points to systems administrators.
9. Support cloud networking functions in collaboration with global networking team.
10. Define cloud implementation policies and security guardrails.
11. Be involved in decision making process for new solutions in the Crane cloud environment.
12. Other duties as assigned.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
16. Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
17. A systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
18. Ability to quickly pickup and understand where newly released cloud services would be appropriate for business applications.
19. Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, PowerShell, Azure ARM, Pulumi, or Terraform.
20. Knowledge of pipeline-automation tools such as Jenkins, Code Pipeline, Azure DevOps, or other comparable tools.
21. Experience using Git for source control management.
22. Ability to proficiently write code in Python, Node.js, Bash (shell), PowerShell, or other similar languages preferred.
23. Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Azure Container Instances, AKS, and others.
24. Comfortable in a Linux environment.
25. Comfortable working with SQL and Oracle databases preferred
26. Understanding of foundational Azure, AWS, and OCI services
27. Ability to maintain Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, etc.
28. Exhibit a Site Reliability Engineering mindset when engaging with or developing reliability and incident response practices
29. Excellent client service, communication, and documentation skills
30. Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems
31. Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
32. Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with translating technical problems to non-technical audiences.
33. Knowledge of security and IAM/RBAC practices within a multi-cloud environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
34. 3 years+ experience in Microsoft Azure
35. 3 years+ experience in Amazon Web Services
36. Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum-focused organization.
37. MS/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION
Professional certification may be required in some cases
