Access Office Team Leader

We are looking for a well‑organised and enthusiastic individual to join the Access team for the role of Access Supervisor.
With an ability to work well under pressure, be well organised and have excellent communication skills.
You must be able to work both independently and within the team, liaise with staff at all levels in a confident manner and be willing to learn all of the system and to tutor other staff members.
The post holder will work with the Access and Car parking Managers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Access office and, in the absence of the managers, provide direct management.
Main duties of the job
The Access Supervisor will be responsible for the management of all access duties on a daily basis.
You will work closely within the security service under the guidance of the Head of Security and Car parking services and Head of Facilities Services to ensure that the service meets agreed standards.
Supporting the Access Manager, with responsibility for the management of the access office ensuring service delivery is in accordance with procedures and policies; and compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
You will provide full administrative support, largely working under your own initiative.
Be accountable for ensuring and monitoring work produced by yourself and the team is of the quality and quantity required ensuring expected Trust and department standards and deadlines are met.
You will provide a professional service to our staff and patients with an excellent telephone manner and a high level of professionalism at all times.
You will be expected to work efficiently, with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Sharing ideas with others to improve service delivery and transformation.
Carry out a range of complex administrative tasks specific to your work area.
Inputting staff information onto the site security and car parking systems, auditing, providing reports and managing data.

* Educated to GCSE level or NVQ level 3 Business Admin / ITQ or Supervisory Management equivalent
Experience
