Qualifications

* Postgraduate Degree (MSc or PhD) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant STEM subject area
* Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through study or work
* Between 3 and 4 years of work experience in a related professional environment
* Eagerness to work on innovative projects and learn from industry leaders
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Strong desire to learn and lead
* Willingness to travel or relocate for project assignments (as required)

Are you ready to shape the future of railway signalling technology? Siemens Mobility, a global leader in rail engineering and innovation, is seeking an ambitious post‑graduate to join our renowned Siemens Graduate Programme (SGP).


About the Programme

The Global SGP spans 24 months: first 8 months at the Siemens Rail Technology Centre in Chippenham, next 8 months in Spain or Germany, and final 8 months back in the UK. The programme is designed to develop exceptional STEM candidates who have an interest in moving into senior business functions. Participants will be immersed in a variety of business areas, mentored by senior executives, and will contribute to transformative initiatives that drive technological shifts across UK rail systems.


Responsibilities

* Support the transition to next‑generation software platforms to enhance technology and productivity.
* Contribute to trials, implementation, and successful rollout of cutting‑edge solutions across the network.
* Help make UK rail systems future‑ready by unlocking the power of AI and cloud‑based solutions.
* Participate in the development of state‑of‑the‑art solutions harnessing artificial intelligence and advanced systems for an international customer base.
