About the Role

Warwick Arts Centre is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic Visitor Experience Assistant to join the team. We believe that the arts are an extraordinary source of wisdom, support, connection, understanding, joy, and inspiration for every one of us. It’s our job to bring art into more people’s lives and our Visitor Experience Assistants are integral to helping us reach, and connect with, more people in new ways.

Thursday 18th September, 3pm – 4 pm on Teams

Join our Visitor Experience Team for an information session about the role. They will outline what we are looking for in the role, Warwick Arts Centres plans for the coming year, and what makes the best application. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions. Role Details

Position: Visitor Experience Assistant

Location: Warwick Arts Centre, with majority on campus due to role requirements.

Department: Warwick Arts Centre

Hours: Frequent evening, weekend, and bank holiday working. Hours will be annualised across term time; no fixed pattern.

Team: Works across 4 performance spaces, 3 cinemas and Mead Gallery. The role involves caring for visitors, supporting events, and contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

About You

As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you will be responsible for working across all visitor services areas, while ensuring a safe environment is maintained. You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure the safe and smooth running of all events, responding promptly and appropriately in the event of an unplanned situation. You will be knowledgeable and approachable to assist visitors with queries or signposting in auditoria, at the box office front desk and foyer spaces. Tasks include checking tickets, invigilating artwork, selling snacks, drinks, ice cream and merchandise, and undertaking a variety of tasks while interacting with a range of audiences. This role provides an opportunity to immerse yourself within the arts, across our 4 performance spaces, 3 cinemas and Mead Gallery.

About The Department

Please note: this role requires frequent evening, weekend, and bank holiday working. Shifts are allocated and planned around our live programme and building activities. Hours are annualised across term time, and there is no fixed working pattern.
