The Role
An ambitious Commercial Lawyer is sought to join a highly reputable education team. As the appointed Commercial Lawyer, you will have experience of advising clients in the education sector on a variety of commercial matters. The client base includes a range of universities, schools and educational charities both internationally and nationally. You will be involved in high‑profile projects, including advising on commercial agreements required for university branch campuses overseas, all forms of joint‑venture agreements and a wide range of commercial agreements.
The Candidate
You will have at least 6+ years PQE in dealing with commercial matters, ideally on behalf of clients within the education sector and within a national, regional or international law firm. Applications are welcomed from those who have a genuine interest or desire to specialise in this sector. You should have strong technical expertise and a commercial mindset, the ability to build strong client relationships and provide a proactive, practical collaborative approach.
